This service provider is from RCA Chicago and has been serving the area since 2008. They were chosen due to the history with Elawa Farm along with the menu variety. The hours of operation were shown along with the services provided and the menu items. The menu will include many different options to resemble a full service restaurant as closely as possible. Board member Maguire mentioned it would be a good idea to post the hours of operation and other important beach information on the website for residents to access. VII. Forest Park Beach Spotlight Program Manager Aaron Dalzot gave an overview of the ideas being implemented at the lakefront this season. The idea of one lake front including sailing, lifeguarding and the beach will be incorporated. Manager Dalzot touched on several areas of the lakefront along with hours of operation and amenities available. Some amenities include the rentable pavilions and fire pit, boating programs, special events hosted and the boat ramp and storage. The beach staff this year will total approximately 76 part-time staff to include lifeguards, beach guards, basin staff and sailing instructors. The boating center will have a new pass system that will replace the current rental process. This will enable youth residents more access, allow easier check outs for kayaks and better oversight of sailboat checkouts. The current and newly offered boating programs were mentioned.
